Training Maps

What's up?
You arrive, and as soon as you start fighting, you get killed. You realize one of the following:

 You suck
That thing in the prefs is on Total Carnage
You forgot all of your military training because Bobs aren't much of a challenge

If you came to any of the above conclusions, you need this map. This little 4-level map will make a fighter out of you. Yes, that's right, a fighter. You will be able to pass Level 1 without a scratch and use only your fist. (It has been done.)

How?
Incuded are 4 levels, really just a square room with one or two specific aliens in it that will teach you to fight. Your goal is to stay alive. That's right, stay alive. Not pass the level, because you can't. Each enemy you kill produces another one, thus maintaining a constant alien population.

Weapons?
Your only weapon is your fist.
But don't I start off with a loaded .44 Magnum and 3 clips for it?
Yes, you do. But you see, each of the rooms you play in is filled with a mixture which is two parts Hydrogen and one part Oxygen. If you fire any weapon, the whole room explodes and, obviously, you die.
You're kidding, right?
No. Use only your fist.

What are the levels?
Each level is independent of the previous ones.

Level 1 - 2 Minor(Major) Fighters in a darkened room. Keep running and run-punching these guys. Master the technique until you can kill at least 7 of the fighters.

Level 2 - 1 Hulk in a lighted room. This is more of a joke, but gives you an idea of just how hard a Hulk is. Kill this one, and you are free.

Level 3 - 2 Minor(Major) Compilers in a lighted room. Compilers are easy to kill. But be careful, if they are Major, their projectiles will follow you. Which is really to your advantage because if you run right, you can get their projectiles to hit them.

Level 4 - 2 Minor(Major) Projectile Fighters in a lighted room. These guys are hard. Run arround and try to run-punch them if you can. But, again, be careful, their projectiles are bad for your health.

The trick in all of these, if you are playing on a high difficulty level, is to run. Run-puch, sidestep-run, run away.

Installation
To install, just drag the Map file and the Physics Model file into the folder that Marathon is in. you may have to rename or move out some of the files you have. Yes, you do need the Physics Model.
